DUCHTING PUMPEN received an order from Steuler Anlagenbau GmbH & Co. KG to deliver SICcast® pumps for the Thermal Tar Recycling Plant Nesraad (in the near of Rotterdam).

This plant is burning bitumen (tar). The liquid of the Flue Gas Desulphurisation Plant has extreme requirements on each Recycle Pump. The gypsum slurry has a solid content of 300 g/l, the ph value is between 1 up to 8 and the chloride content exceeds up to 100.000 ppm. Nevertheless, this parameter doesn’t presents a problem for the used SICcast® material.
