Düchting Pumpen delivers high-pressure centrifugal pumps for a new Seawater Desalination plant in the eastern Region of Oman. The country’s first independent water project in the district of Sur will be entirely financed by the private sector and operated by a consortium comprising Veolia Water and National Power and Water Company. Work on the 17.6 million gallons per day (MGD) SWRO plant will be completed early 2009.
The multistage pumps of type ROWA-HP are in advanced DUPLEX stainless steel construction with motors of 1,000 kW motor. The pumps best efficiency point of 83% is at 500 m3/h and 3.000 rpm.
