Overall Business Prospects
 
As DUCHTING PUMPEN's CEO, Dr. Wolfgang Düchting, reports, the company's current business outlook and its future prospects have not been better for the past years. Düchting is even the more satisfied since large parts of the present growth can be attributed to new product lines and materials. As a result of the numerous orders for pumps at DUCHTING PUMPEN, the business outlook for SICcast®, one of DUCHTING PUMPEN's affiliated companies, is also bright. SICcast® supplies the SIC mineral cast material for many of the pumps produced at DUCHTING PUMPEN. In addition to this, SICcast's services sector (using mate-rials such as SICcast® or similar products like SIConit) has also started well. In spite of the slack period on the paper market, DUECHTING WALZEN SERVICE has not suffered any slump in new orders. In mid February, a tempered vacuum roll (a new invention of DUECHTING WALZEN SERVICE) for the production of foils has been delivered to DÖRKEN in Herdecke, Ruhr.
