High Abrasion-resistant Centrifugal Pumps with Volute Casing and Wear Plates.
 
Fields of Application:
 
DUCHTING PUMPEN centrifugal pumps of the DH Series are particularly suitable for handling solid/liquid mixtures with a high to very high degree of solids contents.
 
Their primary fields of application are wherever there is severe abrasive
DH Series just before a first Quality Check on our Test Site and/or corrosive chemical stress, such as for instance in:
 
  • Coal and Ore Mining (Heavy and concentrated slurries),
  • Steel and Iron Works (Descaling waters),
  • Waste Incineration Plants,
  • Chemical Industry,
  • Sand and Gravel Processing Plants and
  • Potash Industry.
     

     
    Final Assembly Stage on our Site in Witten Design Characteristics:
     
  • Horizontal, single-stage centrifugal pump (armoured pump with a
        suction- and delivery-side wear plate).
  • Suction branch arranged axially. Delivery branch tangentially upwards.
  • Closed, multi-blade radial impeller with back ranes, power transmission
        via feather key. Large impeller diameters up to 800mm allow low,
        wear-reducing speeds.
  • Process-type design, i.e.the impeller can be withdrawn towards thee
        drive side while the volute casing remains in the pipe run
  • no realignment required.
  • Heavy pump bracket with bearing drum as well as readjustment facility for the complete impeller.
  • quite running, optimized operating conditions, resulting in reduced wear and longer service life.
  • Oil lubricated, generously dimensioned antifriction bearings.
        The modular design of pumps of the DH series allows the use of extremely hard materials with optimized
        material thickness, which helps to achieve excellent flow conditions and thus results in reduced wear
        and a longer life expectancy.
